Our packages cover your complete weekend logistics so you don't have to plan a thing. Every package automatically includes your 2-way high-speed ferry tickets departing from Singapore, all local air-conditioned land transfers, your hotel stay with breakfast, a guided city sightseeing tour, and a curated seafood lunch and high tea. 2. Are there any hidden fees or extra costs I need to pay?
We believe in 100% transparency, so there are no hidden fees. However, like all regional ferry travel, standard operational surcharges are separate. You will just need to budget for the Singapore & Batam terminal fuel surcharge ($11/pax) and the standard tour guide tipping ($4/pax). Personal expenses such as optional activities (Go-Karts or massages), travel insurance, and personal shopping are also excluded. 3. What time does the ferry depart from Singapore and return from Batam?
- Departure: The standard tour ferry departs from HarbourFront Centre Singapore in the morning (at 09:35 AM Singapore Time).
- Return: For 2D1N packages, the return ferry from Batam generally departs in the late afternoon on Day 2 (around 3:30 PM or 7:00 PM Batam Time), giving you plenty of time for morning shopping or spa sessions. Note: Exact ferry timings will be confirmed upon your booking.
4. Can I customize the itinerary or choose a different ferry timing?
Yes! While our 1-Day City Tour follows a curated route to see Batam's top cultural and shopping highlights, you can opt out of certain stops if you prefer more free time. If you wish to travel on a specific ferry schedule outside our standard tour slots, please let us know during booking so we can customize your tickets accordingly.
5. Do Singaporean citizens or expats need a visa to enter Batam?
Singapore citizens, Singapore permanent residents and citizens of most ASEAN countries enjoy visa-free entry for tourism. Other nationalities can conveniently obtain a Visa on Arrival (VOA) of IDR 253,000/pax (around S$20-S$25) for 7 days entry at the Batam ferry terminal. Please ensure your passport has at least 6 months of validity.
