1. What is included in a Batam hotel package from Singapore?
Our 2D1N Batam hotel packages include return ferry tickets between Singapore and Batam, hotel accommodation, daily breakfast, and land transfers between the Batam ferry terminal and your hotel. Everything is arranged for you — simply arrive at Harbourfront Centre, board the ferry, and our local guide will meet you at the terminal. No separate bookings or transfers are needed. All hotels above offer 3D2N extensions (note: S$11/pax fuel surcharge payable at Singapore ferry terminal).
2. How long is a typical Batam hotel package?
Most of our packages are 2 Days 1 Night (2D1N), which is ideal for a weekend getaway or shopping trip. If you'd like more time, selected hotels offer 3 Days 2 Nights (3D2N) options, and you can also extend your stay by adding extra nights at the same hotel. Extension rates are shown in the rate table on each hotel's booking page.
3. Which area is best to stay in for a Batam shopping trip?
Nagoya is a popular choice for travellers who want easy access to shopping malls, restaurants, entertainment and nightlife. It is also a short drive from Gold Coast Bengkong Ferry Terminal, where our standard packages arrive with land transfer included.
Baloi & Penuin are convenient for shopping, dining and massage, with several popular malls and restaurants nearby — and are likewise close to the Gold Coast Bengkong terminal.
Batam Centre is an option if you prefer to arrive via Batam Centre Ferry Terminal, but please note that shuttle transfer to and from your hotel is not included in that case. Our standard routing via Gold Coast Bengkong includes return land transfer.
4. Can I choose my own hotel?
Yes, you have full flexibility to choose from any of the featured hotels on this page, ranging from 3-star boutique stays like Artotel to 5-star luxury options like Marriott HarbourBay. Simply select your preferred hotel when booking, and the package price will adjust automatically based on your choice. All hotels include the same core inclusions (ferry, breakfast, transfers).
5. What happens if I miss my ferry to Batam?
If you miss your scheduled ferry, contact us immediately via WhatsApp. Ferry operators typically allow you to board the next available departure if seats are available, though a rebooking fee may apply. We strongly recommend arriving at Harbourfront Centre at least 90 minutes before departure to allow time for check-in, immigration, and boarding. Our team can assist with rebooking on the spot.
6. Is the ferry ticket price included in the package, or do I pay separately?
The return ferry ticket is included in your package price. However, please note that a S$11 per person fuel surcharge is not included and must be paid directly at the Singapore ferry terminal (Harbourfront Centre) on departure day. This surcharge is collected by the ferry operator, not by us. Your booking confirmation will list your confirmation code, ferry operator, and departure time. Any other optional add-ons (such as travel insurance or extra nights) are clearly listed separately at checkout.
7. Can I bring children or infants on the Batam package?
Yes, children and infants are welcome on our Batam packages. However, please note that ferry operators charge the same rate for all passengers — there are no child or infant ferry fares. The package price is therefore the same per person regardless of age. Hotel child policies vary: some hotels allow children to share existing bedding for free, while others charge for extra beds or breakfast. Contact us via WhatsApp before booking so we can confirm the hotel's child policy for your chosen property.
8. Can I arrive or return via Batam Centre Ferry Terminal instead of Gold Coast Bengkong?
Yes, you can choose to arrive and return via Batam Centre Ferry Terminal. However, please note that land transfer (shuttle) between Batam Centre Ferry Terminal and your hotel is not included in the package — you will need to arrange your own transport, such as a taxi or ride-hailing app. Our standard packages arrive at Gold Coast Bengkong Ferry Terminal, where return land transfer to and from your hotel is included. If you'd like to use Batam Centre, please inform us via WhatsApp before booking so we can confirm the arrangement.
